Welcome to Blueberri Pi

Hi, I’m Sandie.

I believe creators and content professionals should have access to smart, actionable insights on how their content works, scales, and thrives in an evolving digital world.

That’s why I started Blueberri Pi.

I write about the systems behind modern content work. Not just the content people see, but the infrastructure underneath it: the workflows, platforms, metadata, operational decisions, organizational friction, and invisible systems shaping how content gets created, distributed, interpreted, and discovered online.

Sometimes that means structured content.
Sometimes it means creator platforms.
Sometimes it means content operations, discoverability, cross-functional collaboration, or why content teams increasingly feel stretched between strategy, production, technology, and platform change.

Most content conversations focus on output. When most people look at a recipe online, they see dinner.

I also see the schema powering discovery, the content model supporting reuse, the workflows enabling scale, the platform constraints shaping visibility, and the operational decisions determining whether that content survives across an increasingly fragmented internet.

Both perspectives matter.

That tension between creativity and infrastructure sits at the center of everything I write.

What is Blueberri Pi?

Blueberri Pi is a weekly newsletter about:

  • Content systems

  • Structured content

  • Platform evolution

  • Content operations

  • Creator infrastructure

  • Cross-functional collaboration

  • Operational clarity

  • The future of digital publishing

Blueberri Pi combines storytelling, systems thinking, operational analysis, and practical insight to help content professionals, creators, strategists, and digital teams better understand the changing nature of content work.

While food media and recipe publishing remain important lenses throughout the publication, the ideas explored here increasingly apply far beyond food. The internet no longer rewards content alone. It rewards systems that help content adapt, travel, scale, and remain understandable across platforms, teams, tools, and experiences.

The frameworks behind the publication

Blueberri Pi’s core message is shaped by three core frameworks developed through years of work across food tech, content operations, and structured content publishing systems.

ARC™

Awareness → Reframe → Connect

ARC helps content professionals move from role ambiguity toward systems-level clarity and confident cross-functional contribution.

It explores the human side of modern content work:
identity, communication, systems awareness, and navigating increasingly hybrid roles.

MAP™

Meaning → Alignment → Platforms

MAP focuses on shared language, operational alignment, and scalable collaboration across teams and systems.

Because most silos begin as language breakdowns.

COSE™

Create → Organize → Share → Expand

COSE is Blueberri’s operational framework for scalable, reusable content systems.

It focuses on structure, discoverability, reuse, multi-platform publishing, and sustainable content operations.

The core belief behind Blueberri is that structure creates possibility.

About Me

Sandie Markle, Founder and CEO at Blueberri

I’ve spent over a decade working at the intersection of food, technology, and content strategy.

My work has included recipe optimization, structured content systems, creator partnerships, metadata strategy, content operations, and helping teams understand how content behaves across modern digital platforms.

Over time, I realized many content problems weren’t actually content problems.

Blueberri Pi became a place to explore those ideas openly, thoughtfully, and accessibly. The goal is to make content sound less technical and make modern content systems easier to see. Once you can see the system, you can work within it more intentionally.

And maybe even reimagine what’s possible.

Who is Sandie?

That’s me up there—with my signature pose, the half head tilt. You’ll see it from time to time. While I love blueberries for their health benefits and that incredible cobalt blue hue (seriously, no other food quite matches it), my actual favorite food? Pizza. A little structured, a little messy, infinitely adaptable—kind of like content strategy.

I’ve spent my career working at the intersection of food, technology, and content, helping food bloggers, recipe developers, and food tech companies figure out what actually makes food content work. Not just how to write a great recipe, but how to structure it for discovery, optimize it for multiple platforms, and turn it into a sustainable business.

I started Blueberri Pi because I know that most creators and content-first organizations don’t have a chief content strategist, a content engineer, or a tech expert on their team. And let’s be honest, most of the conversations about food tech and content strategy aren’t exactly fun to read. My goal is to change that.
