We are celebrating Pi Day with the launch of Blueberri Pi.
The future of food content starts here.
Welcome to Blueberri Pi
There’s a moment in every great dish, the point where everything just clicks. The flavors balance, the texture is just right, and suddenly, it all makes sense.
That’s how I feel about food content, technology, and the way they intersect. There’s a rhythm to it. A structure. A system that, when done well, makes food content more than just words on a page—it makes it discoverable, useful, and profitable.
I’m Sandie and I’m a foodie who loves tech. Not just in the “ooh, I got a new air fryer” kind of way (though, let’s be honest, air fryers are magical). I mean in the content engineering, structured data, and recipe optimization kind of way.
Lately, I’ve seen a shift. AI, structured data, and automation are changing how food content is created, discovered, and monetized. And while some see that as overwhelming, I see it as an opportunity—for food bloggers, for content strategists, for anyone creating the future of food content.
That’s why I started Blueberri. And that’s why you’re here, reading the very first issue of Blueberri Pi.
I created Blueberri Pi to share what I’ve learned—the strategies, insights, and behind-the-scenes food tech knowledge that can help you scale your content, increase discoverability, and create sustainable digital businesses.
Some of what I’ll share is technical, but never intimidating. I break things down in a way that’s easy to understand (with the occasional food analogy, because why not?). Sometimes I’ll tell personal stories, but I promise there’s always a point.
This newsletter is for those creators—the ones who want to stay ahead, build sustainable content operations, and take advantage of new opportunities in food and tech.
If you're a food blogger, recipe developer, or content leader looking for real, practical strategies to scale your content, monetize smarter, and future-proof your business, Blueberri Pi is for you.
What is Blueberri, and why am I starting this newsletter?
I launched Blueberri because food content needs a new playbook.
At its core, Blueberri is about helping food creators and businesses make their visions for new food experiences a reality.
For years, food bloggers and recipe developers have been stuck in the cycle of chasing SEO trends, battling social media algorithms, and trying to monetize in a rapidly changing digital space. Meanwhile, food tech companies are building the future of food discovery—but many don’t fully understand the creators who fuel their platforms.
Blueberri sits at the intersection of content, strategy, and technology.
For food bloggers and content creators – Blueberri helps you structure, scale, and future-proof your content.
For food tech innovators and recipe platforms – Blueberri helps you understand content strategy, creator needs, and how to bridge the gap between tech and food creators.
For content strategists and digital publishers – Blueberri provides insights on content operations, metadata, and making food content work smarter.
Blueberri isn’t just about what you create. It’s about how you create it, how you optimize it, and how you make it sustainable.
Which brings us to Blueberri Pi.
A bit more about me
Before launching Blueberri™, I worked on recipe platforms, content operations, and shoppable recipes, helping brands structure and optimize their food content for maximum visibility and engagement. I’ve seen firsthand how food tech is reshaping how people discover, interact with, and cook recipes—and I want food creators to be part of that future.
Over the years, I’ve spoken at food blogger conferences, food tech events, and industry panels, sharing insights on structured content, content strategy, and how technology is changing food media. I’ve worked with brands, platforms, and independent creators who all have one thing in common: they want their content to reach more people and work smarter.

But here’s the thing: most food bloggers and small businesses don’t have a chief content strategist, a content engineer, or a tech expert on their team. They’re navigating a world changing faster than a sourdough starter in peak summer heat.
That’s why I started this newsletter. I want to make food tech and content strategy accessible, actionable, and (dare I say) a little fun.
Because understanding metadata, structured content, and digital strategy shouldn’t feel like reading an instruction manual for a kitchen gadget you’ll never use.
Which brings me to Blueberri Pi.
Why Pi? Why now?
Let’s start with the obvious: Pi is a nod to both food and tech.
Pi (π) is an irrational number, infinite and never-ending. It represents patterns, systems, and the underlying structure of things—kind of like content strategy.
But Pi is also pie. And pie, much like this newsletter, can be both savory and sweet. Some issues will be data-driven deep dives, and others will be big-picture strategy with a dash of storytelling.
I chose Blueberri Pi as the name for this newsletter because it reflects the balance of creativity and structure that great food content requires. And because, well, I like a good pun.
What problem am I trying to solve?
The way food content is created and consumed is evolving. But most food creators and content teams aren’t set up to navigate that shift.
Some of the biggest challenges I see:
❌ Food bloggers burning out trying to keep up with SEO, social media, and monetization.
❌ Recipe platforms struggling to structure content in a way that’s useful for AI, voice search, and smart kitchens.
❌ Tech companies missing the mark on how to support content creators.
Food content isn’t just about recipes—it’s about how information is structured, optimized, and shared.
So, here’s what I’m doing about it.
What to expect from Blueberri Pi
Every week or two, I’ll break down the strategy, technology, and systems that make food content work.
Content engineering & structured data – Why your content’s format matters just as much as the content itself.
Recipe optimization & SEO – How to get your recipes seen across search, social, and smart devices.
Tech partnerships & monetization – How to leverage food tech platforms for business growth.
Content operations & workflow strategy – How to streamline content creation for efficiency and impact.
This isn’t a newsletter about recipes—it’s about what powers them, what makes them work, and what’s next.
This is just one part of the Blueberri bunch
Since you’re new here, I want to tell you that Blueberri Pi is one piece of a bigger ecosystem of resources I’ve built for food creators.
Blueberri website – A hub for consulting, strategy, and resources for food bloggers and content-driven businesses.
Bluebrri Bytes blog – A mix of deep dives, case studies, and industry insights on content strategy, structured data, and food tech trends.
The Blueberri Podcast – Coming soon! A story-driven podcast exploring the strategy, technology, and business of food content. Sometimes, I’ll go solo, sharing insights from my experience. Other times, I’ll chat with food tech founders, content strategists, and the people shaping the future of food content.
Webinars & events – I host educational webinars for food bloggers, covering everything from AI in content creation to optimizing recipes for multiple platforms. I also speak at food tech and content strategy conferences, where I break down how food creators can leverage technology to scale their businesses and operationalize their teams.
Everything ties together. This newsletter is where I’ll share the latest trends, simplify technical concepts, and give you actionable strategies to apply to your food content.
Will there be a paid subscription?
Right now, Blueberri Pi is completely free. In the future, I may introduce premium content, such as detailed case studies, strategy guides, and exclusive Q&As. For now, just subscribe and join the conversation.
Coming up next
Next issue, we’re diving into structured content—what it is, why it matters, and how food creators can use it to stay relevant as things move full steam ahead.
But for now, I’d love to hear from you.
